Streamschurch.TV Brand Campaign

Streamschurch.TV Brand Campaign

The Situation:

Family Worship Center, (FWC) approached Comet Media Group to develop a branding and marketing campaign for a new ministry – “StreamsChurch.TV”— focusing on Millennials (ages 18 – 36) in the Denver, CO. area with campus in Lakeland, FL.

StreamsChurch.TV is a ministry providing relevant, engaging resources from God’s word to help Millennials discover, connect and grow in Christ, with the goal of inspiring them to become “Living Streams” in their communities.

The campaign goal was to reach individuals:

•    who are currently attending church but not genuinely engaged
•    have stopped attending church
•    love God, but are seeking a different type of church experience
•    spiritual “seekers”

Our Solutions:

Based on the integrated strategic marketing road-map that we developed, we design and produced relevant brand-communication materials — from logo design and website, direct mailer to welcome cards.

Our goal was to develop touch-points that would engage brand experience on web and mobile site, with content inviting guest to visit and become a family of StreamsChurch.TV.

Campaign theme: “Let’s start a journey together”

Public Health Week in St. Lucie County

Public Health Week in St. Lucie County

  • Annual Report: Creative Direction and Branding

Challenge:

Florida Department of Health in St. Lucie County (FDHSLC) provides services to nearly 283,866 residents and countless visitors from every corner of the globe. The goal of the 2014 Public Health Week Annual Report was to highlight the impact of the Department’s services beyond the standard areas associated with public health -like Disease Control, Dental/Oral Care and HIV/AIDS. This serves a twofold purpose –showcasing the various events and initiatives that take place every day as well as recognizing the efforts of diverse community organization and partners.

Solution:

We worked closely with the FDHSLC to identify and highlight the most prominent efforts and successes in the report. Based on the client’s goals, we developed a concept around Florida Department of Health new brand and the Florida Public Health Association theme, ‘Public Health Start Here’, showcasing the people behind the scenes who contribute to the efficient operation of the Department in the community. The idea was to introduce more white space, photos and easy to read copy. The report needed to inform, educate and empower the community to actively manage their health.

Impact:

The Public Health Week annual report was inserted in several local newspapers to reach a broad cross section of the St. Lucie community – residents, visitors, government officials and employees. View Digital Report Here.

Roundtable of St. Lucie County

Roundtable of St. Lucie County

  • Non-Profit Communications: Brand Development and Marketing

Challenge:

The Executive Roundtable of St. Lucie County—now Roundtable of St. Lucie County, a 501(c)(3) organization, is a group of local community leaders in St. Lucie County (SLC) who work together to “accomplish system change that results in improved outcome for youth in our schools and in the community.” The organization does not focus on quick fixes and instead provides a sustained commitment to a research-proven, best practices approach.

Comet was commissioned to do a comprehensive marketing plan for the Executive Roundtable of St. Lucie County. Preparation of the plan included research on funding options, a survey of ERT board members and the general public and a brand audit.

Key findings were as follows:
Half or more of all internal respondents ranked public awareness of ERT networks and initiatives as below average or poor.

The faith network received the lowest ranking in terms of public awareness (87% said it was below average or poor); the Teen Health Network, the highest (50% rated it as good or average).

An overwhelming majority agree that the ERT logo, brand and brand image is not easily recognizable, accurately communicating its mission, nor is it clearly defining the organization.

Among the general public, awareness of the ERT is almost non-existent.

Based on the ERT logo only, the public did not think that it was an organization that helped or supported youth.

Based on the logos only, the public is more likely to support an organization with the Kids at Hope logo than it is an organization with the ERT logo.

The public is overwhelmingly more likely to support an organization devoted to helping kids stay in and do better in school versus one that helps make the community a better place to live, keeps kids out of gangs, or an organization working for better outcomes for youth in St. Lucie County.

Solution:

Our team re-branded this non-profit organization to more clearly communicate its mission in a way that resonated with potential donors.

The mission, vision and logo were redeveloped and a tagline – “Leaders United for Children” – was introduced to reinforce the mission and created the first ever fundraising package for the organization.

Ameritel Wireless

Ameritel Wireless

  • Mobile Phone: Holiday Promotion

Ameritel Wireless / OpyimusTek a T-Mobile authorized dealer in Brooklyn  NY, needed to promote the new arrival of Blu Tank 4.5 mobile phone before the holiday season. Our team at Comet Media Group created window clings, in-store flyers and poster to help draw customers to the store. The promotion was targeted to college student and those those who would accidentally drop their phone in water—the store is located at the corner of a busy subway station and walking distance to state college.

The Tank 4.5 seen above is a rare rugged entry for BLU that’s dust- and water-resistant, yet still reasonably slim for a toughened phone at 0.38 inches — it’s the 4.5-inch qHD screen, dual-core 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera and 4GB of expandable storage that keep the price in check.

Treasure Coast Research Park

Treasure Coast Research Park

  • Research Park: Marketing and Promotion

Challenge:

The mission of the Treasure Coast Research Park is to create a legacy for Florida’s future generations, the Treasure Coast Education, Research and Development Authority’s top priority is to attract research organizations that will make an investment in commercial innovation and scientific research. The park will foster new businesses and new employment, the result of which will be a continual expansion of human intellectual capital. Treasure Coast Research Park is part of Florida Research Parks Network.

Started in 2005, Treasure Coast Research Park  currently comprised of 356 acres with future additions bringing the total acreage to over 1,650 acres, making it the largest research park in the state of Florida—with tenants such as USDA and University of Florida IFAS.

There goal was to bring more awareness about the park resources and attract tenants.

Solution:

Working on a small budget, our team developed a marketing plan that would meet  Treasure Coast Research Park’s goals in three phases. The first was to convert there website to a Content Management System (CMS) that would provide easy content updates without having to hire a web designer. Brand awareness and consistency was very important in the second phase to create buzz about Treasure Coast Research Park. During this phase, we developed both print and digital newsletter that would be easy to read on any hand held devices, conducted interviews and send out press releases. The third phase engaged public and private partners as well as promote their first annual symposium—showcasing research partners and coastal lifestyle to site selectors, potential tenants and investors.

Impact:

Treasure Coast Research Park had an increase in media exposure, brand awareness among site selectors and public and private partnership involvement throughout the Treasure Coast Region.

St. Lucie Florida Tourism

St. Lucie Florida Tourism

  • St. Lucie County TDC: Branding Development & Marketing

Challenge:

Although Florida has been a top international destination for vacation travel for many years,St.Lucie County  was just not getting its fair share – despite a prime location midway between Orlando and Miami where the turnpike and I-95 intersect, most visitors were passing the County by without taking advantage of all it has to  offer. Tourism marketing budget comes from visitors booking hotel stays — the lack of visitors and hotel stay revenue, created the challenge to develop a successful marketing campaign to promote the city of Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie and Hutchinson Island.

Solution:

Comet re-branded the area as “St.Lucie, Florida: Jewel of the Treasure Coast,” formed a tourism and economic partnership with Grand Bahama Island, forged a new public/private partnership program with County businesses  to jointly promote the area to tourists (thereby increasing the County’s budget), created event-based partnerships that increased tourism budget, and launched a travel magazine and website exclusively about St.Lucie County.

Impact:

For three years Comet design, development and marketing team consistently deliver outstanding cultural and nature-based lifestyle brand coverage for St. Lucie County Florida. Coverage has appeared in the top regional and national press including Florida Travel and Life, Chicago Tribune and The Grand Bahama News. Jewel of the Treasure Coast campaign generated increased bed tax revenues and partnership with local and national businesses, such as PGA Village, Perfect Drive Villas, and NY Mets.

Challenge:

Retain existing customers while attracting new audiences

In the face of growing competition, Riverside Bank with nearly 70 branches has asked Blair Advertising now Comet Media Group to create a promotion to grab attention and underscore the bank’s position in the marketplace as “the bank that cares”.

By offering a chance to have anyone mortgage payment paid in full. The bank hopes to break through the holiday advertising clutter with a genuine offer to save money just when people need it the most—after Christmas.

At the same time, Riverside Bank hopes to generate new traffic to its branches by customers and non-customers alike to fill in entry forms and get a chance to get their mortgage paid.

Solution:

Create a consistent look, tone and positioning that demonstrates the bank’s differentiators

Comet  has been Riverside Bank’s agency for Grand Openings, Press Releases, Brochures, In-Bank Displays, Window Clings, Direct Mails, Media Buy and Print Ads and has successfully completed campaign initiatives with the bank’s marketing department.

Riverside Bank called us in to develop an integrated marketing campaign that would retain existing customers while attracting new customers, by offering free mortgage to anyone during the months of January through March.

To underscore the bank’s position as the “The Bank That Cares” — Comet created “Live Free On Us” campaign.

“Live Free On Us” campaign targeted an adult audience of existing customers, new movers and other bank customers. These audience were likely to have a mortgage or be renting an apartment or home.  This focus directed the creative, messaging, media buys and programming adjacencies away from teen stations (15-20yrs.) and toward a more adult audience (21-44 yrs) with a secondary emphasis on a more mature audience (45-65yrs.)
